The Partnership celebrated the beginning of the holiday season with the Ballston and Virginia Square communities at its annual Ballston Holiday Celebration . The 17th annual event took place this year on Wednesday, December 10th at a new location - Kettler Capitals Iceplex atop the Ballston Public Parking Garage.
Following greetings from Arlington County Board Chairman Walter Tejada was the ever-popular singing performance by the El Coro Infantil en Espanol (Children’s Spanish Chorus) directed by Cora Lee Khambatta. Attendees were also treated to gourmet cookies, pretzels and hot chocolate generously donated by the Sports Page, an affiliate of the Front Page restaurant.
To add to the fun, Kettler Capitals Iceplex offered a special group rate for participants of the Holiday Celebration during its public skating session from 5:00pm to 6:30 p.m
