Arts & Crafts Market
Every 2nd Saturday of the month from 10AM - 4PM, starting in May of 2010
Over 70 local artists, artisans and independent designers from Arlington and the surrounding Mid-Atlantic States bring together their unique, hand-crafted pieces, including diverse jewelry designs, whimsical pottery, handspun bags and purses, distinctive sculptures, and urban photography.
The Ballston Arts & Crafts Market takes place in Welburn Square at N. 9th and N. Stuart streets (across from the Ballston Metro on the Orange Line).

Farmers Market
Every Thursday from 3 - 7PM, starting in May of 2010
The Ballston Partnership is happy to announce the upcoming 6th year of operation of the Ballston Farmers Market.
With 14 vendors having signed up for the 2009 market season, the Partnership is looking to double that figure for the 2010 season. Together, the market participants will bring locally grown fruits and vegetables, fresh cut flowers, all natural fresh and cured meats, artisan baked goods, organic coffees and teas, raw honey, and muchmore.
Don't forget that live music will be provided free of charge during select Markets. Located in Welburn Square the Ballston Farmers Market is the perfect place to find some of the freshest products around and to support local vendors.

Bizcussion

The Ballston Partnership is hosting its second quarterly Bizcussion at the offices of Arlington Economic Development. This year-round series is designed to foster exchanges and collaborations of ideas between property managers, area businesses and organizations.
Attendees will be informed of the most up-to-date news and developments impacting the Ballston and Virginia Square urban villages. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity make new connections and meet old ones!
Guest speakers include Terry Serie of the Arlington County Planning Commission and John Durham from the Department of Environmental Services.
