Ballston Farmers Markets & Concerts every Friday
The 2009 Farmers Market at Welburn Square will begin on May 29 and run through October 16 from 11am-3pm. Live Music from noon to 2:00 pm. Concerts in Welburn Square are generously supported by Dweck Properties, Inc, Gates, Hudson & Associates Inc., Paradigm Development Company, Piedmont Office Realty Trust, the Jefferson and the Westin Arlington Gateway. 22nd Annual Taste of Arlington®
Sunday, May 17, 2009, 12-5PM
A record crowd of 15,000 came out to enjoy gourmet tastes provided by over 40 restaurants , great entertainment, and family friendly activities. The event also exceeded its fundraising goals in which the proceeds will benefit Community Residences, Inc. The 2009 event was hosted by the Ballston-Virginia Square Partnership, in partnership with the Clarendon Alliance, Columbia Pike Revitalization Organization, Rosslyn Renaissance and the National Science Foundation. Ballston Holiday Celebration

Annual Meeting

The well-attended Annual Meeting was held at Holiday Inn at 4610 N. Fairfax Drive. A presentation was given on the latest with the Ballston Business Improvement District (BID). Board of Directors were elected for the new 2008-2010 term, and Partnership 2008 Highlights of the Year were shared.
